Program A      Back The Director Claudio Torres received the Award for Best Director at the Festival of Brasilia in 1998 for his episode Diabólica in the full-length feature Traição made up of 3 separate episodes, also received the awards for Best Film from the Popular Jury at the same festival and Best Film at the 1998 Huelva Festival in Spain. He has also directed publicity campaigns and has been responsible for TV and Home Video musical specials by Marisa Monte (Memórias, crônicas…) and the Paralamas do Sucesso (Paralamas em close-up), not to mention many other music videos. In 1995, he was awarded the prizes for Best Director and Best Music Video by MTV for Segue o Seco by Marisa Monte, one of the most award-winning music videos ever in Brazil. Claudio Torres is founding partner of Conspiração Filmes. Redeemer is his first full-length feature film.
