Program I      Back Seu Jorge was formerly in the group Farofa Carioca, then later appeared inthe acclaimed film“City of God”and“Moro no Brasil. He covered 5 David Bowie’s songs in the recent film “The Life Aquatic”(directed by Wes Anderson in 2005) and those are included to its soundtrack and he also performed with David Bowie in N.Y. He is regarded as the next generation’s star. In Japan his latest solo album “Cru” was released by Omagatoki on May 2005 and his acclaimed first album “Samba Esporte Fino” (won the “album of the year in Brazil in 1999”) will be out before the tour in 28th July 2005. It won’t be long till he gains big popularity in Japan too.
