The Amazon rainforest is known by many names, such as the Amazonia and Amazon Jungle, it is a moist broadleaf forest that shrouds the majority of the South American Amazon Basin. Reaching five and half million square kilometers, over half of the planet's remaining rainforests are represented by the Amazonia. It can be a beautiful and deadly place and its continuation is essential to the stability and survival of the Earth's ecosystem. Long before man walked the earth, the Amazon rainforest was thriving with rich life, in comparison of the infinite magnificence, man is merely a dot in lifetime of the Amazonia.
